1. Our Approach to Privacy
We keep data collection to an absolute minimum. This website does not run a server-side account system, and we do not operate an online checkout that stores payment details.
2. Tools That Store Data Locally (Browser Only)
Two features on this site — the Health Tracker and the Bloodwork pages — let you log your own biomarker and protocol data. This data is stored only in your own browser's localStorage. It is never transmitted to, or stored on, any Bioactive Compounds server. Clearing your browser data or using a different device/browser will remove or fail to show this information.
3. Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate, anonymised traffic patterns (e.g. which pages are popular). GA4 may set cookies in your browser for this purpose. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using your browser's cookie controls or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4. WhatsApp Communications
All enquiries and orders are conducted via WhatsApp. Any information you share with us over WhatsApp (your name, order details, delivery preferences) is subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy, as WhatsApp is operated by Meta, not by us. We retain WhatsApp conversation history only as needed to fulfil and follow up on your enquiry, and we do not sell or share your WhatsApp details with third parties.
5. No Server-Side Order Database
Because there is no online checkout, we do not maintain a server-side customer database, payment card storage, or order-history system tied to this website. Any records we keep of past orders exist only within our WhatsApp conversation history.
6. Your Rights
If you have shared information with us via WhatsApp and would like it deleted from our records, message us at +44 7444 731909 and we will action your request.
